Charity Concerts

1. Performed a fund raising concert for establishing a Tamil Center in Atlanta, USA in May, 2011.
2. Performed a fund raising concert in Atlanta, USA for free eye camps to be conducted by Arvind Eye Hospital in various villages in Tamilnadu, India in March 2008.
3. Fund raising performance for the relief of Tsunami victims at Chennai in 2005.
4. Sung for a fund raising programme for the Cancer Institute, Chennai in 2004
5. Rendered songs for creating awareness of legal rights among citizens, highlighting the rights of women and various legal help available for them from the government. Shobana was honored for these services by the State Legal Services Authority on Indian Independence day celebrations at the Bar Council by Chief Justice of High Court, Subhashan Reddy on August 15th, 2003.
6. Sung for the blind children at the Little Flower School at Chennai and entertained them in 2002.
7. Rendered a song for an AIDS Awareness album titled “Azhage” in 2000.
8. Performed a charity concert at Malaysia for the welfare of spastic children in 1999.
